Blood vessel: This may be a subconjunctival hemorrhage which is a leakage of blood from tiny blood vessels(capillaries) into the white of the eye. This shouldn't affect your vision and takes about a week to resolve. It's more of a nuisance rather than a serious problem. In view of your visual symptoms, it's best to be examined by your physician or ophthalmologist, however.
