I took 3.75mg of zopiclone. 2.5 hrs later i can not sleep. i have not slept for 3 days (<2hrs of sleep a night). is it safe to take 1mg ativan?

Probably safe: I doubt you would cause harm, but I would never recommend someone take Ativan after a sleep aid. You are essentially stimulating the same receptors in the brain. There is similarity between the two medications. You do risk over stimulating those receptors and causing excess sedation. It also depends how close together you take the medications. We always advise against taking sedating medications.
