A member asked:

My doctor has prescribed 4mg ativan, 7.5mg zopiclone and 20mg celexa (citalopram) daily. i think this is too much and i should stop taking them. what do you think?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not stop them: Explain your concerns to your doctor. These medications should never be stopped without psychiatric supervision. Get into psychotherapy with cbt for your anxiety and depression. Medications need to be individualized. I have plenty of patients on similar regimens. The right dose is the dose that works for you without causing too much sedation or intolerable side effects.Best wishes.
