I had a fall and landed on my knees,doctor checked my x-rays and told no problem but still,i am experiencing knee pain and knee swelling.

Mri: Xrays only show the bone and as such are not terribly sensitive. Consider requesting an MRI if you are still having problems. An MRI shows soft tissues and will show if you have torn a ligament in your knee, where an X-ray of that patient might be normal.
