A member asked:

I fractured my wrist last year whilst ice skating but it's still extremely painful. what should i do? the initial x-ray showed nothing.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See an ortho doc: Follow-up x-rays can be helpful, sometimes with special views such as a clinched fist view to search for certain ligament injuries such as a scapholunate tear. Tendonitis and cysts are other causes of persistent wrist pain. A follow-up with an orthopedic doctor with an exam, more x-rays and a possible MRI are options for you.
