Possibly herpes...: ..although more typically it causes a small ulcer(s) or open sore(s) rather than a bump. Stinging is certainly often present along with itching. Discharge +/-. HPV most often causes NO symptoms initially but may evolve into warts after a considerable amount of time. Your bumps may be vulvar cysts. The only way to know is to see you Doctor/OB/GYN for evaluation and necessary testing.

Herpes: Itching small bumps with clear discharge indicate exposure to herpes virus, not HPV. Since HSV and HPV are many times transmitted at the same time this situation may be looked at as an opportunity to see a gynecologist or pay a visit to the local health department for a more detailed STD/STI check.
