21 y/o with severe vertigo. mri was normal other than 2 small white lesions. is an mra also warranted?

Yes get further eval: Hi, At 21 yo, "white lesions" in the brain are not normal. I recommend further evaluation. 1 thing to consider is migraines (can cause lesions) and also consider arterial insufficiency, in particular posterior circulation. The MRA can evaluate the vascular supply and I feel you should have neck and head MRA. Best of luck and get better soon.

This could represent "paroxysmal vertigo", which may be part of migraine, and the lesions on the MRI could be consistent. The MRA would be included to fully rule out vascular anomalies. You might benefit from an audiological/ otological screen, especially VENG. Neurologist could perhaps pin down precise diagnosis?
