Boil: Assume you were treated with clindamycin and other appropriate antibiotic. Can apply hot moist compresses to area to attempt to soften. It will take 6 months to two years to soften up as much as possible. If cosmetically unacceptable, let it calm down for 4-6 months and have excised. kenalog injection can also be performed but wait at least 3-4 months.
