Abscess : It sounds like you have sn infected hair follicle . You need to see an general surgeon and the small abscess may need to be opened and drained and you probably need to be on some antibiotics .

Maybe: You may have a small clot of blood at the opening mixed with a scab from where it burst. However, if the boil is swollen, red, tender, and warm, it may be infected and should be looked at by your doctor.
