A member asked:

Is calcium boundary around a small mass seen in liver via ultrasound a confirmation that it is a liver syst?

Liver cysts : Simple liver cysts typically do not have an outer boundary of calcium. Hydatid cyst usually has a calcium-containing outer membrane, but without clinical history and ultrasound report, no conclusive decisions can be made.
