I had a ecg and was reading the results. it said mildly ecatatic aortic root. on my follow visit the dr did not mention it but is this serious?

Unfortunately your: question does not make any sense. An EKG will not be able to determine anything about the aortic root. If you meant an ECHO then it is possible there would be a comment about the aortic root. In that case it means that it is dilated. If your doctor did not mention it then he/she thinks it is not relevant to your health at this time. It should be reassessed periodically.
