I have an abcess on my gum that is swollen and not draining what should i do?

See a dentist: Consider rinsing with diluted salt water rinses. However, see a dentist so that the infection can be drained and/or an antibiotic prescription can be written. See the dentist asap as the infection can potentially become life threatening in 1-2 days.
