Hydration status: With every test there is a sampling error that can lead to a different result. Also, how well hydrated you are versus dehydration can result in dilution of your blood cells and show a drop. Finally, if all your other tests are normal you don't need to worry. Try to focus on eating foods that are rich in iron and follow up with your Doc at your next blood test. You may be pleasantly surprised.
