Am i supposed to avoid multivitamins and supplements the night before a blood draw? this is just for an annual physical to check my cholestrol, hemoglobin, vit d3, metabolic panel, lipid panel and cbc. also should i avoid sugar for more than 12 hrs?

If: Generally if already fasting for 12 hours then fast. Strictly 8 hours fasting is adequate for sugar. The fasting before labs is evolving. European heart association is making a different recommendation on that.

See below: You may take you usual medications with water. Fasting for 9 hours would be sufficient for the tests you listed. Do drink water in the morning to avoid dehydration.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
