If you have not been: to be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon you should do so. It may be a simple matter of referral to physical therapy or there may be a surgical procedure to help you. Regardless you should start with an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation.

After two years?: Just why, after two years, do you feel that you need to do something. Are you experiencing pain, swelling, stiffness or weakness? A percentage of ankle sprains do well without treatment.

Orthopaedic surgery : Don't worry. If you have ruptured ligaments in your ankle an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Foot and Ankle can perform a reconstructive procedure to repair those ligaments. The procedure is called a Brostrom procedure.
