Need to clarify: A proximal fibular fracture would be just below the knee, a distal fracture would be at or near the ankle. The tibia is the main weight-bearing bone of the lower leg so you may need a few more weeks at least. The partial weight-bearing may also be due to the ligament injuries.

Fibula : As stated proximal is near the knee. It may be a bit early for weight bearing , but consult your treating physician for guidance.
