If: If you have an infection a pain killer will not cure the infection. Your throat is part of your airway, and as such infection mandates aggressive treatment. Please see a Physician immediately.

Sore throat?: Feel your throat like it hurts? If the ibuprofen is not working may add paracetamol but try lozenges or difflam spray. Tea and honey or cold drinks and ice blocks may help. May need antibiotics should get checked out.

Throat : Did you mean your throat is sore ? Try painkillers , diflam spray , saline gargles and if still not improving then please consult your doctor.
