Cervical neck pain: Anti-inflammatories, heat/ice, and physical therapy are good first line treatments for myo-fascial/facet/discogenic mediated neck pain. I would touch base with her pcp and get some x rays. I assume she isn't running fevers or had any recent trauma or symptoms of paralysis?
