ADENITIS ?: You need a diagnosis? If you feel fine it could only be a small node infection. Sometimes enlarged node can be the first sign of. Hodgkins disease, tuberculosis, etc so it is best seen by your md.

Watch and wait: If the swelling is a lymph node, you may watch and wait. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
