A member asked:

I have a lump on the back of my shoulder that hurts only if squeezed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lump: This tenderness on squeezing is nonspecific. A physician would have to examine the lump in order to make a diagnosis. Any mass can be tender on squeezing and that includes benign lipoma or other growths, cysts or abscess like a boil. Have the lump examined by your physician or surgeon.
