A "white mass": in the brain is too nonspecific a description to make a comment about. The same structures can be darker or brighter on MRI depending on various technical parameters. No way to tell if the finding is related to old trauma without more specifics.

Unlikely : It would seem unlikely. Although it is possible that if you sustained a bleed into your head that what you are describing represents scar from that injury. You certainly would have known it at that time. More likely this is not related and needs to be fully worked up.
