A member asked:

Mri show unspecified white mass on right side brain , left leg numb for 6 months neogrolist said nothing to worry about see in 2 weeks ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cyst: Without having seen the images, I can only talk in general. White areas on MRI are commonly cysts or fatty tumors. These are benign and not to worry about. Occasionally, a white area can be a cancer or infection but this is easily differentiated from a cyst or lipoma. Your doctor should be able to tell the difference from the pictures.
