A member asked:

After having a pre cancerous polyp removed during a colonoscopy, are there other tests that should be done to ensure i don't have cancer anywhere else?

See below: The whole colon is generally examined during colonoscopy. In addition to removing the polyp, you doctor should examine rest of your colon to ensure that there are no other lesions.

Depends a lot: on your other risk factors, such as genetics, environmental influences, and other co-morbidities. You should consult with your primary physician for definitive medical advice.
