Had a colonoscopy at 42 & polyps, 2 were removed, no cancer. i am 52 so do i need to get another since it's been 10yrs, like soon? having no problems.

Yes,don.t wait 10yrs: It is very good you went for it , this is the whole idea of surveillance colonoscopy , early detection , and cure , and removing polyp before it becomes cancer. Your next visit will be in 2 ys or even earlier if your doctor suspects more polyps. Speak to your doctor.

Colonoscopy/Polyps: If you had a colonoscopy 10 years ago and you did have colon polyps then, you should have another surveillance colonoscopy even though you are without symptoms. Colorectal cancer is a silent disease. You might not have any symptoms however, once you started noticed symptoms, it might be too far advance, which is why we have surveillance program and preventive measures.
