Colonoscopy/Polyps: If you had a colonoscopy 10 years ago and you did have colon polyps then, you should have another surveillance colonoscopy even though you are without symptoms. Colorectal cancer is a silent disease. You might not have any symptoms however, once you started noticed symptoms, it might be too far advance, which is why we have surveillance program and preventive measures.
