Mgt: I would expect some improvement in 48 hours, and the medication should be continued as directed for maximal benefit. Post viral inflammation may last weeks. If you spike a fever, please see your PCP to determine whether you have pneumonia. Are you being treated for influenza with Tamiflu? Did you have the flu vaccine?

Im taking prednisone for a bad chest infection tonsillitis and ear infections Im taking 48 mg a day and also have asthma which I use a blue salbutamol 100mg inhaler but havent been on steroids before Im 17 and dont know if you can take both?
