A rash at this age must be evaluated. Check the baby's temperature and if T 100.4 or higher, please see the Emergency room. Rashes may be related to heat, infection or allergic reactions, among other causes. To determine the next step, please see your Pediatrician. Watch for hives, blisters, fever, poor feeding.

There are several common baby rashes, most of which are benign (not a problem), especially if there is no fever and she is eating well and has no other symptoms. However, the only way to diagnose a rash is to have it seen. I would recommend you have her seen by her pediatrician to have it diagnosed properly and treated properly if treatment is needed.
