Tooth: Cannot tell you if it was a baby tooth or a permanent tooth that was removed without knowing the anatomy and position of the tooth. Your Dentist, the one that removed the tooth, should be able to tell you from your records. It may or may not be a tooth erupting now, it may be a spicule of bone. You need to be examined to determine exactly what's happening and what would be the appropriate Rx.
