Had a bad cavity and lost some of my tooth. when my tooth broke it left a sharp edge. it was my back left bottom tooth, haven't gotten wisdom teeth yet. can't get to my dentist for a month. what can i do in the meantime to help with the discomfort?

That happens quite common, do not afraid to chew with that tooth if there is no tooth pain then the sharp edge will become blunt in time before the dental appointment. Do not play that sharp edge with your tongue. Use orajel (pain reliever gel for children teething) for pain or discomfort during eating.

Nothing that will work. Before you have a painful mind-numbing debilitating roaring infection you need to see a Dentist and you need to see one now. A cavity is an infection, spreading through your body to other organ systems. You put off treating the infection. The result is now an extensive expensive problem requiring IMMEDIATE attention. You've put this off too long. Get professional help now.
