A member asked:

17yo, i have a tingling sensation in the upper back rite of my head. it can happen a couple times a day and i usually lightly tap it to make it stop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pinched nerve or ...: possible muscle spasm. This is most likely related to tightness of the muscles of the neck and might be relieved by improvement in posture, and regular range of motion exercises of the head, turning to right, to left, shrugging shoulders and hugging onself. Sometimes dehydration or excess caffeine can also cause twitches. If there is a problem with headaches or change in alertness, be checked.
