2 possibilities: If examination of the ear canal and ear drum are normal, there are 2 possibilities for your sensation. 1.) You may be aware of the Eustachian tube allowing pressure equalization of pressure in the middle ear or 2.) You may be aware of spontaneous vibration of one of the 2 muscles in the middle ear. Either of these conditions are not serious.
