Ask GI doc who ordrd: This question's best answered by the GI doctor who performed the procedure & submitted the report. The GI doctor should explain its significance (i.e., if it correlates with your symptoms or not). "Diffuse" = widespread. "Terminal ileum" = region of small intestine near appendix / large intestine.
