Followup in ER: If you are still in respiratory distress after taking 10 puffs of your inhaler you need to be seen in the emergency room. 10 puffs is a huge dose, you might be experiencing rapid heart rate and light-headedness. Follow-up with your doctor to create an asthma action plan so you know what to do when your asthma is flaring.
