Ask nephrologist: S-AME is not generally toxic to the kidneys, but you don't give any other medications or information about the nature of your kidney disease. There is a rare condition called Lesch-Nyan syndrome that can be worsened by s-AME. Your kidney physician and your pharmacist should be your primary source of information, and I recommend against depending solely on online sources.
