I have a lymph node behind ear that has been enlarged for 10 months. ent wants to do a ct but i prefer to avoid unnecessary radiation. this ok?

CT: Your Physician doesn't want to expose you to "unnecessary" radiation. He/she wants to diagnose and treat your problem, which may be quite serious. The CT scan is "necessary" to arrive at the correct course of action. At some point you have to trust the people trying to help you.
