More info helpful: At 22yo it would b unusually to have something new pop up and decide to just observe it, so further evaluation is needed. There are many variables and possibilities depending upon how large it is, where exactly it is( on ear, back of ear, scalp, side of head, etc...) also what it feels like ( soft, hard, mobile, fixed) and any other findings on a good physical exam. I agree with an ENT evaluation.
