Serious condition: This is NOT something you can ignore. I hope you can overcome your 'fear' of doctors and the health care system to get this checked out properly. Your life is on the line. I would worry about a cardiac arrhythmia or possibly a heart valve problem. This is very serious and needs proper evaluation. Maybe you can call your regular doctor today? The good news is at least you reached out on Health Tap.

Medical phobia: 45 F medical phobia wt 270. High heart weight. ANS: so if you think about carrying a back pack every day that is 140 Lbs this is more than a marine in good shape has to carry. And u wonder why HR IS HIGH? I recommend DASH eating plan at 1800 calories a day. Here is book ID “ISBN: 0-7434-1007-6 -8”. Start Chap 9 in AM and weight will melt away. Most things will get better as weight goes down.

EKG & Stress : You need an immediate full history and exam 12 lead EKG to look at your hearts rate rhythm and axis on EKG and to rule out AV nodal reentry tachycardia hopefully this is just sinus tachycardia. Change your diet and your life and depending on BMI consider bariatric surgery. You can do it. We are on your side.

Phobia: Since you are afraid to go to the Doctor maybe you could ask a friend or family member to go with you. If this is too hard for you it might be good to receive Pastoral Counseling from your Clergy so you can reach out for help. Since you are at risk for serious illness due to your weight it is crucial for you to have a physical exam by a Doctor.
