Toe pain: Medication treats the symptoms but you need to treat the cause. Please go to a foot doctor who will ease that ingrown toenail and help you prevent infection. Peace and good health.

Porentially: It may help with the pain but will not help the condition itself. An ingrown toenail is a mechanical problem where the corner of the nail grows into the edge of the skin causing infection and pain. If it is mild, you can actually try to elevate the corner of the nail out yourself. More likely, you should be seen and we usually clip off that part of the nail to fix it.
