Hi, my 9 year old son is poorly every week. his cpr is 47 & cbc normal. he gets constant viruses but nobody else gets ill! what could cause this?

Frequent colds: It is normal for children to have frequent colds- 6-10 in a year. Attending school exposes him to viral illnesses. If he is around cigarette smokers he is likely to have more frequent colds. Another possibility is that he has allergic rhinitis in addition to viral infection especially if there are pets in the household. Follow up with your child's doctor if you have additional concerns.
