Mebendazole: Mebendazole is an anti-worm medication used to treat worm infections such as pinworm, roundworm, whipworm, hookworm. It does not have antibacterial effect. It should not kill the healthy bacteria in the body. Probiotics such as lactobacillus -found in yoghurts with active cultures- and bifidobacterium are helpful in restoring healthy bacteria while taking antibiotics.
