Good idea.: If you have elevated aldosterone then it's important to figure out why, may just be the way your body is wired but there are other causes as well. If so then you can take aldactone to manage this issue if it is causing actual symptoms. The dosing will depend but 100mg is a safe dose to start with, often 200mg is needed to causes hormone blocking effects.
