No meds: No medicine is recommended, definitely no cough medications. You can use normal saline drops in the nose and the bulb syringe, also put a humidifier in the room or steam from the bathroom. Humidity: Run the shower and make a warm steamy bathroom and sit with your daughter in it for five or ten minutes. Alternatively you could try some saline drops followed by bulb suction one nostril at a time but babies hate that.
