Depends: heart rate can be low when you are sleeping. Are you having any symptoms and what is the duration of the low heart rate. IF it is just a drop to low then back to high its okay as long as you are not symptomatic. Some symptoms can be dizziness, light headedness, passing out. If you are an athlete HR can be low without any symptoms.
