Sensitive gums: A dentist is the best person to answer this question and I suggest you see one. I have seen folks who develop sensitive teeth and gums by using whitening strips. The mouthwash you mention may have similar ingredients in it so sensitivity is possible. Peace and good health.

Yes: Mouthwash and toothpaste that eliminates stains contain bleach which can make your gums sensitive and sore. Discontinue the product and if you still have concerns about stains, see your dentist for a cleaning. If your gums continue to be sore after 10 days or if they are puffy, bleeding, pussy or you have a bad taste or bad breath see the dentist right away.
