my last cbc blood test indicated rdw of 16.2, mcv 82, mch 27.5, mchc, 33.4 and platelets 390. the only high readings were the rdw and platelets. ?

Lowish iron?: You may be borderline iron deficient. This often raises platelets and typically raises RDW well before you get anemic. Your physician can advise you further.
