Helpful: It can be helpful but it doesn't fix the problem. The effect usually lasts three months or so but each time you do it, it lasts a little less.

Data not all in: In some cases, botulinum toxin (Botox) injected at the pyloric valve to temporarily paralyze and relax it. The purpose is to determine if the patient would benefit from a pyloroplasty. While use of botulinum toxin has been associated with improvement in symptoms of gastroparesis in some patients, further research is required to validate its efficacy
