Not really: Successful Botox treatments often require as few as 4 or 5 minor pinpricks. Occasionally, patients report a headache after treatment, but most patients can return to work immediately afterwards.

Very little: Botox is delivered via an injection, so...Yes they do hurt, but very little. Steps can be taken to make those injections painless, like using topical anesthetic and/or ice. Generally, my payients barely feel the injections. Occasionally, the needle with hit a nerve or blood vessel and the patient will feel the injection. If you are very sensitive to needles, the answer is yes. Ask for pre-numbing.
