I recently fell on the side of my head nearest to my ear. i'm having ringing on my ear as well as on and off headaches. should i be concerned?

Head, ear injury: You don't need to be overly concerned, however it really depends on how significant a fall you took. You definitely should be seen by a physician to evaluate the injury and determine if x-rays or other imaging is indicated. And, you should be referred to an ENT to evaluate the tinnitus, ear exam, and hearing.
