A member asked:

Hit my head behind my ear the day before and felt dizzy right after the impact. a day later and i have a headache that comes and goes. i feel pain on the opposite side from where i hit my head as well. should i have it checked out?

Get checked: It's not unusual to have headaches after even seemingly trivial head trauma, but since you're experiencing discomfort in the opposite side of your head, there would be concern for more significant head trauma. With significant head trauma the opposite side of the brain shifts against the skull and impacts it. If you're still having symptoms, get examined. The physician will decide re ct scan
