Endoscopy: Endoscopy is a procedure. some times after the procedure the gastro oesophageal spinster may have reduced tone. should be fine if you did not have any reflux before end scope. can try some antacids for few days and avoid fizzy drinks, tea, coffee and hot spicy food. Talk to your doctor if symptoms persist.

Heartburn: If it's true reflux the sphincter at the end of the esophagus may have been temporarily disturbed during the endoscopic examination allowing reflux of gastric juices. Another possibility is simple irritation of the esophagus causing retrosternal discomfort. I recommend that you report your symptoms to the endoscopist who is more qualified to advise and treat you.
