I have been dealing w gerd for 3 yrs diagnosed by endoscopy omaprazole helps but can't live with out it how often should i repeat the test ?

3 to 5 years.: to see if you have Barrette esophagus. It also depends on what were the findings on last EGD. Good thing you are non smoker and non drinker. BUT your GI specialist knows the best.

Endoscopy: A repeat endoscopy would definitely help, and the right timing will be decided based on the findings on the first one. Talk to your gastroenterologist about a follow up appointment. Losing weight, if overweight, and staying on a reflux diet are critical, too.
